JHG Adds Depth to Digital Services with Two Significant Hires
San Diego-Based Digital Marketing Agency Continues Strong 2010 Momentum
SAN DIEGO – April 12, 2010 – JHG, a Southern California-based strategic digital marketing agency founded in 2005, today announced two important additions to their team — Morgan Witt, as the Director of Digital Strategy, and Jan Whitbeck, as a Senior Account Executive. Witt brings with him nearly a decade of experience in integrated online marketing and will provide strategic leadership on a multitude of digital marketing initiatives. Whitbeck brings to JHG more than 11 years of experience in marketing and client relations and will help JHG manage key client accounts amongst the company’s diverse client base.
With the addition of Witt and Whitbeck to the highly talented and experienced team, JHG continues its 2010 resurgence in company operations and services, fueled by the new partnership between JHG and Goble and Associates, Inc. (G&A), a long-standing, Chicago-based communications agency. In a deal that was finalized at the end of 2009, G&A and JHG now function under shared ownership but continue to operate as individual agencies, each with its own identity, brand equity, and stable roster of clients. In essence, the two organizations—each with established specialties and expertise— continue to influence and share in each other’s success while being able to deliver more for their respective clients.

As Manager of Marketing and Strategic Partnerships at Red Door Interactive, Witt played an essential role in generating new leads, securing additional revenue from existing clients, developing strategic partnerships, and supporting the expansion of the agency. Before joining Red Door, Witt founded NOVOLOGIQ, a strategic marketing and communications consultancy. Previously, he served as Director of Marketing Strategy for Juice Media and Senior Account Development Manager at Bluehornet, a Digital River company. Witt is also founder of Strictlysocial.com, a music blog focused on electronic music and DJ culture.

As Promotions Director and Account Executive for more than eight years at Clear Channel Communications’ 630 KHOW and AM 760 KKZN in Denver, Whitbeck was responsible for negotiating radio advertising based on industry ratings that maximized station revenue and share in the 20th ranked radio market. She also developed long- and short-term marketing plans utilizing station ratings and demographic data profiles, as well as created, managed and supported both stations’ promotions, sponsored events, marketing campaigns and associated budgets.
