JHG Expands Digital Marketing Team with Addition of New Senior Vice President of Strategy & Development

Former FanBox Executive Bill Zorr Brings Nearly a Decade of Business Development Expertise to Digital Marketing Agency

SAN DIEGO – April 21, 2009 – JHG (formerly JHG Townsend), the digital marketing agency that combines strategy, interactive, mobile and public relations to engage brands and drive their revenues, today announced that Bill Zorr joined the executive management team as senior vice president of strategy & development. Zorr was previously the vice president of business strategy and development at FanBox, a company that combines community and commerce by enabling people to buy, sell and promote their digital content through its proprietary Web and mobile technologies. He led the highly successful business development teams and handled complex business negotiations for the company.

While at FanBox, Zorr led cross-functional teams to successfully launch new partnerships that were the genesis of the company’s flagship products. Under his guidance, the FanBox business development team worked to strike agreements with major U.S carriers and inked deals that ranged from $250,000 to more than $1 million.

In his new role at JHG, Zorr is responsible for establishing new business relationships with companies in the sports, entertainment and technology markets and helping to create the vision behind the agency’s long-term business strategy.

Prior to FanBox, Zorr was director of business development at TRN, a software as a service (SaaS) financial services technology company. While at TRN, Zorr established and managed major relationships with financial partners that include the “Who’s Who” in global finance. In addition to building TRN’s business development team, Zorr implemented a new business plan, a partnership model that increased revenues from existing partners, and led an aggressive sales strategy initiative.
