JHG Scores New Account Executive for Sports Marketing Team

Brandon Welch Brings Professional Sports Expertise to JHG

San Diego November 19, 2008 – JHG (formerly JHG Townsend), a results-driven communications group that effectively combines traditional marketing and PR services with new digital media, today announced that Brandon Welch has joined the agency as an account executive on the JHG Sports Marketing team. With a solid track record of working with sports clients like Chuck Beal Racing as well as the sports and event management firm Integrated Sports Marketing, Welch will contribute his sports expertise, providing JHG clients with innovative and effective digital sports marketing programs and services. Welch’s primary responsibilities include representing JHG in business development and supporting the agency’s current roster of sports clients, including Yahoo! Sports, Rogers Communications and the Buffalo Bills.

During his tenure at the Integrated Sports Marketing agency, Welch earned invaluable marketing experience developing and executing sponsorship sales programs. He first gained hands-on experience in the professional sports industry while interning with the San Diego Chargers, where he assisted with team partnerships, game day promotions and special event marketing.

Welch earned his undergraduate degree and master’s in business administration from San Diego State University.
